Want to preview what online/mobile bidding looks like on a site that is already set up and ready to go? Our Public Demo site is ready to go with default settings, pre-loaded tickets, items and instructions so you can dive right in and preview the online/mobile bidding experience.
Of course, there may be other folks practicing on the public demo site at the same time so if you'd like to run through an event from start to finish with your entire team, you'll probably want to use our automated template to create your own demo and testing site.
Warning! Because this template is set up to allow users to experience mobile bidding immediately, the settings and existing data won't be a good starting point for an actual event site, but you will be able to refer to your demo site for examples of how the elements that you want to use have been configured. Just let us know once you're done with your demo site and we'll delete it for you so it doesn't count against your available event sites. . .
To build a new site using the Mobile Bidding Template:
Log in to (must be Account Manager to access)
1. Create New Event Site, then click on Migrate Data button:
2. Click on "Show Site Template Options" button:
3. Select Mobile Bidding Template, then Replace:
3. Confirm Results, then click on Event URL button to view your new site:
4. Enable the Online/Mobile Feature:
Go to Site Settings > Events > Online Auction/Mobile Bidding > Bidding Settings.
Once enabled, follow instructions on homepage to get started. . .
