There are two options for notifying online/mobile winners and asking for payment. There are separate payment settings for each option.
- Online Auctions, where participants are bidding from different locations, typically choose settings to fully automate the closing process (awarding items and notifying winners automatically and asking for payment to be submitted online). The payment methods specified (as shown below) are the payment options available to anyone paying from their online cart.
- Mobile Bidding events, where most participants are physically present and may also be making gala purchases usually opt to manually trigger "Invitations to Check-out" to notify winners. The invitation to check-out contains a link directly to their account, with available payment option(s) as specified.
Since Cash/Check payments cannot be submitted online, use the Custom Payment option to allow buyers to indicate that they will be paying by cash/check, then provide instructions for them to do so.

Go to: Admin > Site Settings > Online/Mobile > Payment Settings.
