Dancing with Your Stars. . .Karaoke gone wild. . . Talent Shows. . .Dessert Dash. . .voting contests can provide a new twist or even direction for your fundraising.
What You Need to Know:
Voting Contests as fundraisers entail smartphone voting with your wallet; each vote is a cash donation to your organization.
The Voting feature utilizes the same bidding platform as Online/Mobile Bidding with separate bid/vote screens so you can use them simultaneously, using the Nav bar buttons to navigate between the two:
You can create block vote options with or without discounts (eg. 1 vote/$10, 10 votes/$75)
Separate invitations to bid and vote navigate users to different landing pages, but both invites provide access to either voting or bidding via the home screen. If your event contains both elements, you have the option to:
- Send separate invitations to launch each portion or
- Send an invitation to bid, then direct your guests to click on the trophy icon to begin voting when the contests begin.
