IMPORTANT!! WePay has informed us that they will halt payment processing on June 27, 2024. If you recently completed your event, this will not affect payments and refunds already processed on your site, but you should process and/or refund any open orders by July 12, 2024.
For now you may still use the instructions below to update your existing WePay account.
Be aware that for future events you will need to set up a new credit card gateway account.
Acorn and Essentials customers can apply for an account with Deluxe, our new partner for integrated payment processing.
Plus and Professional customers may apply for a Deluxe account or choose from other compatible gateway options.
If you know the password, you can login to the Wepay account as the primary user and change the email yourself.
If you do not know the password, but can retrieve messages from the associated with the account, you can use the "Forgot your password?" link on the login screen to gain access.
If you do not have the password or access to the existing email, you must contact the support desk at WePay.com for assistance. Keep in mind that it is often faster and easier to simply create a new WePay account than to provide the verification needed to transfer ownership of the account.
1. Login to WePay.com
Use the associated email address as the login. If you do not know the password, use the password reset option.
To add new users to the account:
Go to Settings > Members > Enter email address > Invite
Invited users will receive an email with a link to choose their password for access. These users will have access to view the account and transactions, but will not be able to edit the account itself.
