Pre-programmed custom fields are available for common guest options:
- Meal Choice (edit to customize meal options)
- Request to share a bidder number/cart (for guests that don't purchase their own/couples ticket)
- Covid Precautions (uploading proof of vaccination and/or negative test)
- Seating Preference
To add a pre-programmed field (Meal Choice used to illustrate):
Go to: Site Settings > Customize Your Site > Look & Feel > Custom Fields
Then choose preset field group from dropdown > Add Group
Requiring Proof of Vaccination or Negative Covid Test
Go to: Site Settings > Customize Your Site > Look and Feel > Custom Fields > Select Covid Precautions from the predefined field group dropdown menu > Add Group
Review and Edit fields as desired.
#1. Covid Requirements is a Plain Text field - edit to explain the requirements for your event.
#2. Covid Compliance Method is a List field - edit the list as needed if you are providing options for complying with requirements. If not, you can delete this field.
#3. Upload Image is an Upload File field- edit the field name as desired to specify the proof you are asking for.
If you are requiring vaccination OR negative test, be sure to leave this field as optional during ticket sales (to allow those intending to be tested to proceed with a ticket purchase). Then edit to "required" just prior to your event to force guests to provide proof prior to check-in/self check-in.
If you are requiring vaccination AND negative test, use this field to require/upload proof of vaccination - then add a new field named "Please upload test results within xx hours/days of event" and manually update it to required at xx hours/days before your event.
Tip: You may want to use the Add Field button to add a second image upload field called something like: Additional Upload Image, if necessary. In some areas of the country, booster details are being recorded on the back of the vaccination card - and some of your guests may have their vaccination details spread across two cards and will need the ability to upload both to meet your covid requirements.
