To set up credit card processing on your site, someone with a Chair role must connect your site to your payment gateway, using an API login and password provided by your gateway.
You will only need to setup processing once - you'll be able to migrate your credit card (and other settings) to future event sites.
WePay is an app specific gateway - with a built-in integration to create and connect your gateway account simultaneously within the software.
Our other supported gateways all utilize custom integrations, and each has their own format and teminology for the credentials (login and pw) you'll need to connect your site to their gateway. You can find links to gateway specific instructions below.
To connect gateway:
Go to: Admin > Site Settings > Payment > Credit Card > Setup Gateway, then follow instructions for your gateway:
Note: If the dropdown menu lists WePay as the only option, you must upgrade to connect to another supported gateway.
