There are line item edit links on the order page to allow you to edit (exchange) a ticket or sponsorship on the order for a different ticket or sponsorship. If guests have not been assigned to any of the tickets, you may exchange them for any other available option. If one or more guests have already been assigned to the ticket, you may encounter screen messaging that you will need to unassign those guests in order to select your desired exchange option.
This article provides instructions for unassigning guests from an unwanted ticket(s) and reassigning them to the desired ticket(s).
Note: Unassigning a guest merely removes their user record from a particular ticket so it can be added to a new ticket - all of their information (including vaulted credit card, if stored) will be retained.
To Unassign Guests from Tickets
Go to: Orders > Search and click on edit link for desired order to view:
Before unassigning, make a note of the guest names so you'll be able to search for and select their user records when you're ready to re-assign them to a new ticket.
Once all guests have been unassigned from the ticket or sponsorship, you can use the line item Edit Ticket/Edit Sponsorship link to exchange for the desired option.
