Note: Text-to-Give requires Digital, Virtual, or Fusion subscriptions
When you first enable the Text-to-Give feature, a dedicated phone number is assigned to your organization's subscription for use across all of your event sites and campaigns.
You choose the keyword you want your supporters to text to your dedicated number to donate to a specific campaign.
For example: Text Play to 844-218-2243 triggers an automated reply with a link to the campaign:
The same phone number is used on all event sites associated with your organization's account.
Complete the Verification section (required by our SMS/Text provider to ensure compliance with their terms and conditions for usage)
If Text-to-Give is being enabled on a new event site, all Keywords already in use on your organization's other event sites will display here (and any new Keywords will be added as they are created).
Each Keyword links to a specific campaign so it can only be associated with one campaign at a time. More information on Managing Keywords here.
To Add Keywords
Go to: Site Settings > Events > Fundraising Campaigns > Campaigns > Add or Edit Campaign:
Note: Keywords are NOT case-sensitive
Texting the keyword triggers an auto-response message which works best with VERB keywords: Click here to "donate"
If you want to use a noun or adjective keyword, consider using a keyword phrase that works better with the prompt: Click here to "support Ben"
